Meal Mart

Just purchased and heated their Hungarian Cabbage Rolls. I can attest that it tastes like dog food too. Never again and I am going to register a complaint with Costco too.

Hi. I'm 100% Hungarian, 2nd generation and those "Hungarian Style" stuffed cabbage rolls are NO WAY NEAR our Hungarian traditional style of cooking.

My dad and I bought them for the heck of it when they were on sale and I nearly vomited. They were all flushed right down the toilet where they belong. I actually told the customer service representative at the returns desk, when I was returning something else and she actually refunded me for them even though I disposed of them. I told her it was no way near Hungarian style and that it definitely did not measure up to Costco's standards.

My dad makes the best authentic Hungarian stuffed cabbage.

This afternoon I purchased a pkg of "Hungarian Style Beef Stuffed Cabbage in Sweetened Tomato Sauce", fully cooked ready to heat. I wish I had read this comment before going to the store.

There were 4 in the pkg and 3-1/2 went in the garbage. They were terrible. Less than dog food? My cat would not come close to the small piece of the beef stuffing I offered him and he eats most anything I give him.

I'm in my 70's and been eating (Commercial as well as home made) Hungarian cabbage rolls most of my life.

Never have I had such garbage. Right-on, less than dog food.
